Message From The Principal

Principal

Hello Staff, Parents, Families, and Lemay School Community!

It is my honor to announce myself as the principal of Lemay Early Education Center. I have been working with LAUSD for 18 years, and of those 18 years, I have dedicated 16 years working at LAUSD with the youngest learners.  While I’ve worked at Early Education Centers, I have been a teacher, head teacher, and mentor teacher.

The mission of Early Childhood Education Division is to provide a high-quality Early Education Program to maximize school readiness.  We want to prepare our students for success in school and in life while valuing the needs, languages, and cultures of all families, staff, and communities.  We want our students to finish their preschool with the skills and knowledge they need for school and later for life.  As the school leader, my primary role and responsibility is to fulfill this mission.

I invite you all to collaborate and assess the needs of our school, to build stronger relationships with other stakeholders, and to better serve our students, families, and community.  Our goal is the same: we all want to create a nurturing, welcoming, positive learning environment for our young learners, families, staff, and community.  We can achieve our goals if we all work together collectively, and if we are responsible for our actions.

I look forward to the collaborative work ahead.  As we embark in this journey, it is important to keep in the forefront our district goals and the strategic plan.  The strategic plan gives us clear direction for collective planning and for every action we take to ensure that every student is ready for the world. I am very excited to be at Lemay Early Education Center, and I am looking forward to getting to know each of you and building a good trusting relationship.

Let’s start a new chapter at Lemay Early Education Center together with joy and success!
